Neuro-Modelling

The modelling of neurodegenerative diseases addresses an emergent research area in the field of dementia diseases. In this field research is not model-driven up to now, but is largely still in a kind of  »data collection phase«. There is no lack of ideas how Alzheimer's disease might be generated, but there definitely is a lack of a comprehensive model of Alzheimer, which can be used for the identification of new targets.
