Multiphysical Network Simulator MYNTS

Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing SCAI

Sketch of a compressor station as a subnetwork for MYNTS-Gas with a master element for controlling the station.
Passive UHF sensor transponder (Fraunhofer IMS) - one circuit - potential of a transistor.

MYNTS, our multiphysical network simulator, currently supports

  • MYNTS-Circuit: circuit simulation with tightly integrated device simulation
  • MYNTS-Gas: gas transport simulation

Special features include

  • user-programmable subnetworks and own elements
  • open modelling
  • Python API
  • intransient and transient calculations
  • efficient numerical kernels (multi-core)

It is suited for water transport, energy, oil etc. as well.  If you are interested in the above or other configurations (MYNTS-Water, MYNTS-Electricity, MYNTS-Oil), please contact us.

MYNTS is developed together with the group of Prof. Dr. Caren Tischendorf (Humboldt University, Berlin).
