Dr. Kai Krajsek leads the team »Machine Learning and Data Analytics in Neuroimaging« within the Simulation Laboratory Neuroscience at the Supercomputing Centre Jülich (JSC). He holds a PhD degree from the Goethe University Frankfurt in the field of computer vision and machine learning (2014). His research interests cover inverse modelling and statistical estimation theory in the context of pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision. From 2014 to 2017 he developed large scale machine learning models within an operational weather forecasting system of the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS). In 2018 he joined the JSC focusing on neuroimaging, machine learning and high-performance computing.
