The project GASPI (Global Address Space Programming Interface) addresses a challenge­ in the software industry, known as the “Multicore Challenge”. The aim of the project is to stimulate the development­ of new programming models and programming­ languages that lead to new ways for mathematical modeling, algorithm­s, and their implementation­ in software.
